Rodolphe Péters, owner of the world-renowned Champagne Pierre Péters in Le Mesnil sur Oger, met Brad Pitt through the Perrin family, who have known the Péters family for many years and share their passion for great wines. The three parties noticed that when they tasted aged vintage rosé Champagnes, they often found that the aromas of the red grapes were too pronounced and conflicted with the harmony and nobility of the overall wine. This is why together, Péters, Pitt, and Perrin decided to create a different style of rosé Champagne, combining old Chardonnay and young Pinot Noir.
Alexis Blondel joined Champagne Fleur de Miraval in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in August 2022 as Deputy Cellar Master. With extensive experience in the world of wine in Dubai, New York and Paris, including for the Ducasse group, he works with Rodolphe Peters and the Perrin family in the development of the Champagne and the brand, and is Fleur de Miraval’s main representative at events organized all over the world.
