Mathieu Roland-Billecart is the 7th generation to run his family’s eponymous Champagne house - one of the few in the region to still be family owned and operated after 200 years. This seminar with Mathieu will explore the evolution of the house’s calling card cuvée - Brut Réserve, now called Le Réserve after a number of recent changes. We will also taste the newly released Cuvée Nicolas François from the fantastic 2012 vintage, a triumph of Billecart-Salmon’s skill at blending and vinifying the best Grand Cru vineyards of Champagne.
